A dream catcher is not just home decor, it also has a purpose. Native Americans hang dream catchers freely in a room or right above the head of the sleeper. According to an old legend, bad dreams get caught in the net and in the morning are destroyed by daylight. The good ones slide down the feather back into the soul of the sleeper.
